The G20 Leaders’ Declaration released by the G20 country heads of state has important commitments for the worldwide response to TB and antimicrobial resistance (AMR), and to ensuring access to affordable medicines, diagnostics and vaccines.
Earlier, the WHO End TB Strategy adopted by our governments at the World Health Assembly 2014, had laid out a plan to end TB by 2030.
Are we on track to meet these goals/ targets? Are TB rates (and deaths) declining, and declining fast enough?
