Less than 90 months are left (as of July 2023) to deliver on the promise of UN SDGs, and unless we ensure gender equality and human rights for all the people, of all sexual orientations and gender identities and expressions worldwide, we cannot deliver on these goals.

- Matcha Phorn-In, is an Ethnic Minority, Indigenous, Lesbian, and Feminist human rights defender from the Chiangmai-Tak-Maehongson, which is on the border of Thailand-Myanmar where an armed conflict still ongoing. She is the founder and executive director of Sangsan Anakot Yawachon, an organization that works for advancing the rights of the Indigenous people especially LGBTQIAP+, women and girls.
- Azra Talat Sayeed, is a political and development justice activist who runs Roots for Equity, a Karachi based organization that works with small and landless peasants. She works actively on women’s rights and peasant rights, especially landless women farmers. She is among the respected voices for development justice globally.
- Marevic Parcon, is the Executive Director, Women's Global Network for Reproductive Rights (WGNRR), a southern-based global network that connects and strengthens movements for the promotion and advancement of sexual & reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and justice.
- Dr Saphon Somolireasmey, Associate Executive Director of the Reproductive Health Association of Cambodia (RHAC). With her 15 years of working in research field and communities supports, Somolireasmey is strongly passionate in continuing her research field, particularly in gender lensed reflecting Cambodian social contexts.
- Nhuun Wannapong Yodmuang of Asia Pacific Transgender Network (APTN), is a Thai trans woman and an advocate with an academic background in International Human Rights Law. She had worked with local and regional organisations on trans rights in the context of several countries in Asia, engaging with international advocacy spaces such as United Nation bodies.
- Dr Jakkrapatara Boonruang is a research physician affiliated with Institute of HIV Research and Innovation (IHRI) whose field of study includes prevention, screening and treatment of HIV and other STIs, as well as gender-affirming hormonal therapy for #transgender population. He has been involved with several clinical studies like HPTN083, GARDP and iFACT/iMACT; as well as with implementation researches such as Community-Based Same-Day ART dispensation, Providing non-discriminating services to clients from all walk of life in Pribta-Tangerine Clinic in Bangkok.
- Meena Seshu, is a force for change on gender and development justice, and has dedicatedly worked with people in sex work, dalit women, and other marginalised communities. She is the founder of SANGRAM, which dedicatedly works for empowering sex workers, and created Veshya Anyay Mukti Parishad (VAMP) - a collective of people in sex work.
- Nachale Boonyapisomparn (respectfully called Hua), is a trans woman activist who has played a seminal role in founding of powerful, successful support and advocacy groups - to support the health and human rights of transgender and LGB peoples - Sisters (in Pattaya), Thai Transgender Alliance (formally known as Foundation of Transgender Alliance for Human Rights), and Asia Pacific Transgender Network (APTN) to name a few. She has also worked as Transgender and Gender Non-Binary Health Advisor at Apicha Community Health Center in New York, and currently serves as Partnerships Manager at Astraea Lesbian Foundation for Justice.
- Michaela Guthridge, connects the dots between effective empathy and gender inequality, and shares how it can help advance progress on commitments enshrined in legally-binding treaties such as CEDAW. Michaela has over 16 years' experience in social justice local and global research and advocacy projects, with a particular focus on gender-based violence, human trafficking, forced marriage and indigenous peoples' issues. Currently, she is undertaking a PhD at Monash University entitled "Missing Microfeminisms: Understanding the Role of Affective Empathy in Promoting the CEDAW Principles of Equality and Non-Discrimination" and is a teaching associate at Monash University, Australia.
- Jennifer Lu, is the Director for Asia Programmes at Outright International, and has been devoted to #LGBTQIAP+ rights and political reform movements for 20 years nationally and internationally. She is a social worker, lesbian feminist, author, and Taiwanese. Before joining Outright, Jennifer was Executive Director of Taiwan Equality Campaign, known as Marriage Equality Coalition Taiwan - a leading organization that pushed marriage equality in Taiwan.
